Warranty Escape and rescue kit for tower applications. Kit is pre-rigged. Includes 3300 descent device, 350ft. of 7.5mm green kernmantle rope, (3) carabiners, (2) 4ft. rope-over-wire anchors, (1) edge protector, 4:1 RTU kit & water-resistant haul bag. The tower escape kit is built around the 3M and DEUS 3300 Device, an ultra-compact, ultra-safe descent system that is ideal for technicians in at-height environments up to 350 ft., including wind, telecommunications or utility towers. 3300 Controlled Descent Device allows for a 3 m/sec (9.84 ft./sec) controlled descent. The oversized control knob is all you need for complete control, even with heavy gloves. Stop or go and change speed any time during descent. Versatile: This all-in-one escape and rescue device allows for a variety of applications up to 590 ft. including: Single and multi-person escape, Assisted Rescue (both 1 and 2 person), Self Rescue after a fall, Restraint and Positioning. Can also be used for Rescue Training if used with 3M and DEUS 7300 device. 7.5 mm green kernmantle rope is lightweight, made of polyester/Technora sheath, Technora core which is fire resistant to 925°F. Rope is NFPA 1983 (12-ED) "Escape" certified. 4' Rope-Over-Wire anchor choker is rated to 7,000 lbs. Rescue Transfer Unit (RTU) is a mechanical advantage 4:1 system for vertical rescue lifting. Pre-rigged kit contains 1 cam locking pulley, 1 double pulley with integral swivel and 50ft. of 7.5mm kermantle rope (12.25 ft working length), (2) carabiners, Dyneema sling and storage bag. With an RTU Kit, lifting can be accomplished more quickly and with less effort compared to handle-wheel systems. DEUS RTU operates independently of controlled descent system, allowing for more flexibility in rigging, and wide range of use. Edge protectors in kit provide superior protection for both moving and static ropes in one easy-to-use, compact and lightweight solution. Device meets requirements of NFPA 1983 (12-ED) "FE" and EN341: 2012/Type 1, Class B.
