The EN50131 version includes special features not found in the standard Omni IIe including arming/disarming methods, shunt lock incorporation, confirmed alarms for police, temporary lockout when entering an invalid code, an enhanced event log, firmware update authorization, double EOL resistors for tamper detection, an entry/exit follower, and adjustment to security code usage and visibility.
